This Christmas, our school came together with a simple intention—to share and care. It was a meaningful experience that reminded us of the true spirit of the season: kindness, gratitude, and giving. Thankful to everyone who contributed in their own way.

Mental Health Awareness Week
From 22nd to 26th September, AFEEL DP1 students carried out their first CAS service project by organizing a Mental Health Awareness Week.
The week began with a talk show in the school assembly, where the students sensitized the community about the importance of mental health. They emphasized that mental well-being is as normal and vital as physical health, and that talking about it should never be considered a taboo.
They also highlighted the role of self-love, talents, and passions in building resilience against mental health challenges. To bring this message closer to their peers, students recited poems written by members of the cohort, adding creativity and a personal touch to the awareness campaign.
On the final day, the students presented a play scripted by one of their peers, dramatizing the struggles many young people face. The performance illustrated how a student’s mental health can be affected, and more importantly, how the school community can respond with understanding, support, and care.
The message shared throughout the week was powerful and clear: silence around mental health must be broken, and support must be extended by the community. Just as physical health is prioritized, the mental well-being of students should be nurtured and protected with equal care.
