Prepositions of Time : at, on, in

★ at
We use "at" to designate specific times.
Ex: the train is due at 8:30 p.m.
(In french: le train arrive à 20h30')
★ on
We use "on" to designate days and dates.
Ex: my sister is coming on Monday
(In french: ma soeur vient ou arrive Lundi)
★in
We use "in" for nonspecific times during a day, a month, a season, or a year.
Ex:- She likes reading in the morning
(Elle aime lire le matin)
- It's too hot in summer
(Il fait trop chaud en été)
- She started the job in 1990
(Il a commencé à travailler en 1990)
- She's going to resign in August
(Elle va démissionner en Août)

How to pronounce the " -ed"

How to pronounce the " -ed" found in the simple past and the past participle of regular verbs?
★ If the "ed" is preceded by "t" or "d" you have to pronounce it like "id"
e.g: waited /weitid/; banded /bandid/;
★ If the "ed" is preceded by an s, p , k, x, or z sound you have to pronounce it like "t"
e.g: stopped /stopt/; asked /askt/ ; xeroxed /zirokst/; passed /past/; used /yu:zt/ ...
★ If the "ed" is preceded by b, r, v, w or any vowel sound you have to pronounce it like "d"
