Established primarily by Indian immigrants, particularly from Gujarat, it serves as a cultural and religious center for Hindus living in Congo. The organization plays a vital role in preserving and promoting Hindu traditions, values, and religious practices, offering a sense of community for expatriates and locals alike. Located in Kinshasa, the Congo Hindu Mandal organizes festivals, religious ceremonies, and cultural events, such as Diwali, Holi, and Navratri, which are celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Hindu community. It also facilitates various social, educational, and charitable activities, contributing to the well-being of the broader society. The Mandal not only provides a place of worship but also offers a space for spiritual growth, moral education, and cultural preservation, ensuring that future generations remain connected to their heritage while fostering interfaith harmony within the multicultural landscape of the DRC.
