NATION BUILDING

Economic growth suits the quality of education. Where knowledge is low, the economy is weak.

The quality of education determines the quality of the economy.

Great nations are built with knowledge, not with raw materials.

Knowledge is an economic value.

We are in the knowledge economy where knowledge is building nations.

New ideas, knowledge is the currency of the new global economy.

The nations that hold knowledge are the nations that rule the world.

The 3 Dimensions of Leadership

1. The first dimension of leadership is RESPONSABILITY.

Leadership begins with the attitude or mentality of responsability. Responsability is composed with 2 words: réponse and ability. Leadership is response-ability. The ability to respond to needs and necessity. Responsability is the ability to assume.

As responsible, leaders initiate change. They don't wait for change. They emerge as responses for change.

2. IMPACT

The 2sd dimension of leadership is impact. Leadership is all about making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Impact gives credibility to leaders.

The 2i of leadership
Impact and integrity are the two pillars of credibility in leadership. You can make a great impact just like Lula the former president of Brazil and be disqualified because of lack of integrity. Lula changed Brazil and was very influent because of the great impact i made on millions of families in Brazil, but just one problem of corruption destroyed his leadership.
Protect your impact with integrity. Succeed without violeting the rules.

The true measure of a leader is his impact.
Impact talk about service, contribution. Impact talks about solutions. Jack Welch is remembered because of his impact in General Electric. He took this company from 13 billions to hundred billions of $. Phil Jackson is remembered because of his impact in Lakers and the Bulls of Chicago with a total of 11 cups. Impact talks about results, productivity, performance. Leadership is never been about position, title, or diploma, but about the change you brought, the impact you made, the legacy you leaved.

Steve Jobs is remembered because of his impact in Apple.

Leadership is never about the number of followers, rather than the impact on them.

Greatness in leadership will never be measured by the quantity of followers, but on your capacity yo impact and transform them.

3. Influence.

The 3rd dimension of leadership is influence. Your impact gives you credibility, and your credibility determines your influence. The impact of your product or service on one person will influence others to follow you or not. Then focus on impacting your customers, not in making more income. The greater the impact, the greater the influence. And the greater the influence, the greater the income.

Influence is produced by the 2i of leadership : impact and integrity. The impact of David in killing Goliath determined his influence. Impact is the mother of influence. Influence is the résult of the 2 first dimensions of leadership.

First, develop a mindset of response-ability.
Make a positive impact
And build your influence.

To build your influence , you must develop your leadership presence. Develop your charisma, your communication and relationship skills, your personal branding and your personal marketing. Learn to sell yourself...

Billy Issa Leadership Tips

1. A nation that wants to lead the world invests in the quality of knowledge of its people.

2. Great nations promote knowledge, small nations smother knowledge.

3. The growth of knowledge is the fuel of organizations and nations that go far.

4. One of the things our nation needs in leadership is wisdom for nation building.

5. While followers are the victims of the situation, leaders initiate, create or contribute to change, to advancement.

Billy Issa Leadership Tips

1. Small nations have leaders who work for their bellies. Great nations have leaders with a sense of greatness, excellence and honor.

2. Small nations love entertainment and distraction. Great nations love education and personal development.

3. The greatest enemy of small nations is not the devil, but ignorance. Great nations invest heavily in the research and production of new knowledge because they know that those with rare knowledge rule the world.

4. The difference between great nations and small nations is not the amount of wealth buried in the basement, but the quality of leadership and knowledge held by its people.

5. The small nations make the victim, seek the pity of other nations, and hold out their hands, while the great nations have understood that the hand that gives is the one that dominates and thrives. They inspire respect and are based on noble ideals.

"Leadership is not about how many follow you, it s about what they become through you." Billy Issa

Leaders identify and develop the best in others. The highest calling of leadership is not about adding and maintaining followers but awakening and developing their leadership.

Leadership is the capacity of inspiring others to become not your clone, but the best version of themselves. Leadership is not about maintaining power over people, but it s about empowering them to discover, maximize and unlesh their full potential.
