Attention YCS families.
Unfortunately the Grade 4/5 Track & Field Showcase has been cancelled due to high amounts of rain in the forecast. Sadly the division has tried to put this on several times but rain has been a major issue on each of the dates. This event will not be rescheduled.

🏐 DID YOU KNOW?

A new volleyball rule is in effect for the 2026-27 season! In certain situations, a ball that contacts the roof or an object attached to the roof may remain live, meaning play can continue.

The key takeaway? Keep playing until the referee signals otherwise.

Best of luck to all GSSD volleyball teams this season!

Back to school tomorrow and we are so excited to see everyone. Remember to watch for school zones and reduce speed!

Hello YCS Families!
We are looking forward to seeing students back on Wednesday, September 2nd! Before that happens, we would like to provide an opportunity for you to drop off school supplies at the building. We will have our school supply drop-off night on Monday, August 31st from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. During this time, families are welcome to come by the school and drop off supplies in their child's new classroom for this year.
An important note, also, that this is only for our students in Grades 1 - 8. Kindergarten students will bring their belongings on the 2nd and the 3rd, depending on which day they attend. Thanks and have a great last week and a half of summer!
