One Image. Different Conversations.
One of the greatest lessons I've learned from working with leaders and teams is this:
Two people can look at the exact same situation...
and see something completely different.
Neither perspective is wrong.
It's simply shaped by their experiences, their personality, their responsibilities, and the stories they've lived.
That's why I love using the visual tools of Points of Youยฎ.
A single image can open a conversation that might never happen through questions alone.
When I place one photograph in the middle of a table, something shifts.
People stop trying to find the right answer... ..and begin sharing their answer.
That's where understanding begins.
Looking at this image, I find myself wondering:
๐ช Which door represents where your team is today?
๐ช Is a new opportunity opening?
๐ช Is there a conversation waiting to happen?
๐ช Or is there a door you've been walking past without noticing?
What fascinates me is that every person will likely see something different.
And every perspective adds another piece to the picture.
Because the goal isn't to think alike.
The goal is to understand one another well enough to move forward together.
I'm curious...
What do you notice first when you look at this image?
