Good news! We've extended the School Bus Registration deadline to August 2.

If you haven't registered your child for school bus transportation yet, there's still time! Register before August 2 to help ensure transportation arrangements are in place for the upcoming school year.

🚌 2026–2027 School Bus Registration Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you are enjoying your summer.

We would like to apologize for the delay in opening registrations for the 2026–2027 school year. Our online registration website is currently receiving its final updates to ensure a smooth and reliable registration process.

To avoid any delays, Transdev Canada Inc. will be accepting school bus registrations by email and in person from Monday, July 13, 2026, through Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Registration Process

Once we receive your registration, it will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
After your registration has been processed, you will receive:
• Assigned route number
• Pick-up location and time
• Drop-off location and time
• Payment instructions

Bus passes will be printed only after payment has been received.

In-Person Registration
Families without internet access are welcome to register in person at:

Office Hours (July 13–26)
Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Our staff will manually collect your information and complete the registration for you.

Bus Pass Distribution

Once printed, all bus passes will be delivered directly to the respective schools for students to pick up before the start of the school year.
Important Information
• All applications and supporting documents must be submitted to: [email protected]
• Applications submitted before July 13, 2026, will not be processed.
• Zip ties are mandatory and must be used to attach the bus pass securely to the student's backpack.
• Please ensure all information submitted is
complete and accurate to help avoid delays in processing.

Today, due to a safety concern with a bus heater not working, we have merged Route 4 and Route 2 for the day. This may result in a slight delay.

Hi Parents,

We truly enjoyed serving you outside our regular office hours this past weekend:
🕔 Friday: 5pm – 9pm
🕛 Saturday: 12pm – 5pm
🕛 Sunday: 12pm – 5pm

We will be taking a short break on Monday, September 8th, 2025 – no ID handouts that day.

👉 Starting Tuesday, September 9th
You can visit us between 3pm – 5pm to collect your student’s bus pass.

⚠️ Please note:
Our office is closed from 9am – 3pm daily to focus on school bus, transit, para-transit, and charter operations.

Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à vous servir en dehors de nos heures de bureau régulières la fin de semaine passée :

Vendredi : 17h – 21h
Samedi : 12h – 17h

Nous prendrons une courte pause le lundi 8 septembre 2025 – aucune distribution de cartes d’identité ce jour-là.

📌 À partir du mardi 9 septembre

Vous pourrez nous rendre visite entre 15h et 17h pour récupérer la carte d’autobus scolaire de votre enfant.

⚠️ Veuillez noter :

Notre bureau est fermé de 9h à 15h tous les jours afin de nous consacrer aux opérations des autobus scolaires, du transport en commun, du transport adapté et des services de navette.

We are currently processing and printing student bus IDs for the 2025–26 school year. Until this process is complete, all students may continue to ride the school bus for free.
To help us keep track, please ensure your child’s name is added to our driver’s student list. We will update our records on our side, and if we require more information, we will reach out to you directly.

Thursday, September 5: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday, September 6: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, September 7: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

📢 Bus Pass & Student Transportation Update

It has been a challenging task to get all bus passes assigned and organized, but our team at Transdev Yellowknife is working hard to ensure everything is in place for students. ✅

👉 Please note: Google Forms will remain on hold for today and will reopen tomorrow. Sports passes are filling up quickly with only a few remaining, so we encourage you to apply as soon as the forms are active again.

🚍 Reminder for Parents: Until September 11th, students do not need a bus pass to ride the school buses.
