16 WMS Grade 8 Students and Mrs Bromley, Mr Brooks, Ms Cole and Mr Seabrook left Powder Point this morning to make their way to Hidden Lake.
Our Hidden Lake Canoe Trip and Camp Akaitcho are two On the Land experiences available to students in Grade 8 at WMS. Independence, responsibility, team-work, collaboration, stewardship, environmental awareness, safety and survival training and connection to Land and place are just a few of the things that Grade 8 students take away from these programs.
Thank you to Cathy Alloo-loo and for your expertise, knowledge and training. Because of you and your staff, our students are better equipped to enjoy the next 5 days on the water!
Thank you to Ahmic Air Ltd for getting our staff and supplies safely to the site on Friday!
