Our office is now open! If you have any questions, you can stop by or give us a call at 867-920-2112. August 21st Parents will receive an email with important information for the new school year. This will include your child’s teacher, classroom number and an updated Bell Schedule. See our previous post for supply lists, these can also be found on our website!

Barry Talbot from Yellowknife Rotary Club came to visit 3/4 Martiniuk to tell us about Valentina, a young girl in Mexico that needed support to be able to get life altering medical treatments.

We raised $317 for Valentina!

This past Thursday evening, our school community came together for a wonderful celebration honoring the rich Indigenous culture in our school and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable night!

Yellowknife Catholic Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathleen Finnigan as Principal of École St. Joseph School, effective starting the 2026–2027 school year.

Kathleen brings nearly four decades of experience in Catholic education and a strong record of leadership in supporting student success, faith-based learning, and vibrant school communities. During her time at École St. Patrick High School, she has made meaningful contributions to students, staff, and the broader school community, and we are sincerely grateful for her dedication and leadership.

Her appointment reflects our continued commitment to strong leadership and excellence in Catholic education across our schools.
