Families and community members are warmly invited to join us on Tuesday, September 8th at 9:30am for our first chapel of the 2026-2027 school year. Join us for a time of worship and praise as we thank God for His faithfulness to JKCS and pray for the year ahead. We will also take time to introduce the new families and students who will be joining our JKCS community this year. We look forward to the new school year ahead of us, trusting God to lead and guide us!

DON'T FORGET! Our ice cream social is this Wednesday, September 2nd from 6-8pm at John Knox Christian School. Meet your teachers, bring in and drop off your school supplies, mingle with old friends and meet some new ones, all while enjoying some yummy ice cream! See you there!

As we eagerly anticipate welcoming our students back into the classrooms of JKCS, we're excited to introduce our theme for the 2026-2027 school year: COME TO THE WATERS

Our theme verse is Isaiah 55:1a: “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters.”

This year, we will "dive" into this theme further, learning that God satisfies our deepest thirst and fills our cups until they overflow. Throughout Scripture there are many stories and images that involve water. From the waters of creation to the living water offered by Christ, God continually invites His people to come to Him, to be refreshed, restored and sustained.

We're certain you've spent time by and in the water over the summer and we look forward with joy to extending this refreshment and reflection into our school year together. Our prayer for this year is that all students will come to know the God of true, living water.

Things are taking shape with our construction and renovation project at JKCS! We are excited for this addition and the blessing these new learning spaces will be to our students later this fall.
