As a Forest School Director, sometimes I have the absolute pleasure of jumping into a program last minute to cover one of our Mentors. What a lovely way to start my day.

Who wouldn’t love to learn in a setting like this!? Come join us ♥️

Climb, balance, grow! 🌳
What looks like simple outdoor play is actually a whole-body learning experience.

🪵 Balance & coordination – strengthening stability, body awareness and control.
💪 Gross motor development – building strength, agility and confidence in movement.
🧠 Problem-solving – figuring out where to place hands and feet and how to navigate uneven surfaces.
🌱 Confidence & resilience – taking on challenges, making choices and trying again when things don’t go to plan.
👣 Spatial awareness – learning about height, distance, movement and their body in relation to the environment.

Swap and shop!! 🧥 🥾 👖 ❄️ 🌧️ 🌲

Looking for new gear? Have anything that your kids outgrew you’re looking to rehome? THIS is for YOU!

Here’s how it works:

WE are accepting donations of clean/gently used items 0-14 years of age; base layers, mid layers, boots, snow gear, rain gear….we want it all!

On October 18…come to Tiny Forest Academy between 12-3pm and shop!

$15 to fill a bag!

Did you donate items to our swap?..you rock!…$10 to fill a bag!

We are working together to make outdoor living more accessible to families. (We get it, gear is expensive)

Proceeds will go directly into our Tuition Support program to make outdoor programming more accessible within the community ❤️ 🌲

🌿🪵 Little builders, big adventures!
At TFA, sticks become walls, logs become bridges and imagination becomes the blueprint. Working together to build forts gives children the chance to problem-solve, negotiate, take safe risks and discover the power of teamwork.

From cosy shelters to climbing challenges and imaginative hideaways, every fort becomes a space for learning, confidence, creativity and adventure. 🌲✨

Sometimes the best classrooms are built from sticks. 🤎
