Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization which gives its members the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking abilities through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests. Toastmasters International includes more than 199,000 men and women in more than 9,300 clubs in more than 70 countries.
Thank you to all of the frontline workers, from Woodstock Toastmasters! Kudos to you all for working so hard to keep everyone healthy!

Although many folks are self-isolating and running out of things to do ~ how about learning something new? This is a great time to learn a new language or to read those books that you hadn’t yet made time for.
Have you been able to do anything different in your efforts for personal growth?
And to clarify, not the “growth” that everyone is getting from eating too much!
Happy Easter to everyone from Woodstock Toastmasters. May you enjoy your Easter, whether that means a meal with your self-isolating family or watching a good movie on Netflix!

The word of the day is "dauntless".
Definition: incapable of being intimidated or subdued : fearless, undaunted.
Every Toastmasters meeting has a grammarian, who is responsible for bringing a word of the day. During that meeting the grammarian is also responsible to document who uses the word of the day. This is a fun and great challenge that builds on your vocabulary!
