Employment Opportunity: K–1 Teacher (Maternity Leave Position)
We are seeking a dedicated and faith-driven educator to join our team as a Kindergarten–Grade 1 Teacher. This maternity leave position offers the opportunity to teach within a Christ-centered environment using the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, faith-based instruction to K–1 students
• Support diverse learning needs, including students requiring additional assistance
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and participate in school activities
Qualifications:
• Experience working with young children in an educational setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to varying classroom needs
• Relevant education or certification in Early Childhood Education or Teaching (asset)
• Valid Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, and First Aid certification required
