What is mentoring?
Generally mentoring provides a structured and trusting relationship that brings young people together with caring individuals who offer advice, comfort and inspiration. It can be seen as a partnership between two people (mentor and mentee) normally working in a related field or sharing similar experiences. It is a helpful relationship based upon mutual trust and respect. A mentor should help the mentee to believe in themselves and boost their confidence.
An educational mentor is a counselor who can help the mentee to find the right direction and who also can help guide them to develop awareness and solutions to their important educational questions.
