How do you get 112 new grade 9 students to start bonding with each other? Just give them opportunities.

Our 113 new grade 9s started our school with four full days of orientation. Why four days? We really want them to get to know each other, and even more, we want to get to know them. It was a great week of serving others, playing icebreakers, learning about the school’s programs and opportunities, hearing advice from older students, and receiving their MacBook to use during their four years at TDCH. They even spent a beautiful day hanging out and daring the high ropes at a camp. Actual classes started this week, and we are off to a great start!
