If you’ve been on-site recently, you may have noticed some changes happening outside 👀

At our Friends & Alumni Supper and our Oasis presentation, we shared about an exciting new project that is now officially underway: an outdoor classroom featuring an amphitheatre and a pavilion. It will be a place for learning, worship, community, and hospitality extending beyond the four walls of the College into the wider Acadia University campus. In keeping with our strategic priority to empower connection, this space will offer a place for people to connect with one another, creation, and Creator. We can’t wait to share more - stay tuned for updates!

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Matthew Walsh to the Payzant Chair of Biblical Studies. This appointment recognizes Dr. Walsh’s excellence in teaching and scholarship, service to the College and the constituency, and spiritual and community leadership.

“We are so pleased to see Dr. Walsh step into this historic role,” said Dr. Anna Robbins, President of Acadia Divinity College. “His scholarship and pastoral presence exemplify what this Chair was created to sustain – a deep commitment to Scripture, and to the students who study it.”

Please join us in congratulating Matt! 🎉

We had the best time with our CBAC family at Oasis last week here on campus. We hosted our Friends & Alumni Supper, where we heard exciting updates, connected over a BBQ supper, and honoured the service of Dale Stairs.
Many of our team hosted workshops and panels. Mark Jefferson preached incredibly powerful words to our Baptist family. And we hosted “The Point of Connection” during the Friday night rally, highlighting all our amazing partnerships and how ADC serves our community.

Thank you CBAC for an amazing few days together!

Oasis begins today! We are excited to welcome our wider Baptist family to our beautiful campus over the next few days - many of our team are involved in leading workshops and panels, and ADC's very own Dr. Mark Jefferson is a keynote speaker 🎉

Please join us in prayer for this time together.

Pray for Oasis, this year being the 180th assembly of CBAC churches that gathers pastors, delegates, and other leaders. Ask God to use this time for spiritual refreshment, meaningful connection, and renewed vision. Pray for encouragement and unity among those who serve across the CBAC.

When Canadian Baptist missionaries arrived in India more than a century ago, they planted seeds of faith that would eventually grow into a sustained ministry impacting millions.

Serving in the states of Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, they could not have imagined one of their spiritual descendants would one day study in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, and return to India to shape a significant ministry of lasting influence.

That spiritual descendent is Rev. Dr. A. B. Joseph Kishore, and today, Acadia Divinity College is proud to name him as the 2026 recipient of the ADC Alumni Distinguished Service Award.

Please join us in congratulating Rev. Dr. Kishore 🎉
