WOW! We just received our first round of photos from last night's dress rehearsal, and we are blown away ✨

We want to give a massive shoutout to the volunteers and organizations supporting us, but most importantly, to our students. They haven’t just been rehearsing lines - they’ve been involved in every single technical element, from the props, sets, lighting, and more.

The way is clear, the light is good... and we can’t wait to share this story with you! 📖

The Horton Music Parents' Association has been working hard to bring this event to life, and with over 170 tables featuring local vendors, there's something for everyone. There will also be door prizes, raffles, a ticket auction, a cafe, and BBQ to support Horton's music program. We hope to see you there! 🎶

Okay, okay. I know! I’ve waited far too long to share more photos of this year’s production of Les Mis, but if you saw how many wonderful photos took, you’d understand how hard it is to choose which ones to post!

I know it’s been over two months since this show closed, but I’d say every member of the cast and crew deserves another round of applause 👏🏻

Not only did you all bring your a-game to each performance, but the collaborative energy you demonstrated during every moment of preparation was incredible. I know that many friendships were formed during this process and I am so incredibly grateful for each and everyone of you.

Your work demonstrates what the performing arts are all about 💙🤍❤️

We are counting down to Acadia University’s Piano Intensive Weekend, which is happening from May 9-11. Word on the street is that there might still be some opportunities for last-minute registrations if you missed the previous deadline.

This program is perfect for young pianists looking to work one-on-one with Acadia faculty, perform, and connect with fellow musicians from across the region.

Join us on April 14 at 7pm for "Something Old, Something New", a concert by Horton Music that celebrates tradition and innovation!

Featuring works by Holst, Ticheli, Ellington and more, our wind bands, jazz band, and vocal ensemble promise to offer you an entertaining evening of music. This concert will also include a premiere of John Mackey’s new composition, Teeth of the Mechanism.

Admission is by donation. We hope to see you there!
