Proud to be the oldest engineering school in Western Canada.
Normi is part of the ongoing research of Inti Nemoga Stout, an NSERC Undergraduate Student Researcher in Mechanical Engineering working in the Fluid Power and Telerobotics Research Laboratory. His research focuses on solving the challenge of replicating realistic human motions on a humanoid robot. Because the robot has different dimensions, joint configurations, and dynamics than a human, reproducing human movement is complex.

A new scholarship program has been launched by Mayor Scott Gillingham to encourage Winnipeg students pursuing education in aerospace and aviation.
Valued at $1000 each, the Sky Economy Scholarship Program is now accepting applications up until Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
