A new scholarship program has been launched by Mayor Scott Gillingham to encourage Winnipeg students pursuing education in aerospace and aviation.
Valued at $1000 each, the Sky Economy Scholarship Program is now accepting applications up until Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Engineering Graduation Reception after the Convocation Ceremony on Thursday, June 4th in the EITC Atrium. Light refreshments will be available starting at 11:30, formal remarks and convocation awards at 12:30. See you there!

We have been busy with outreach this month! We have connected with youth at high school career fairs, supported the Manitoba Robot Games, and participated in UM's Preparing for University event.

Join us for Moose Hide Campaign Day, a national movement to end violence against women and children, particularly Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQ+ people.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with brief remarks at the flag poles in front of UMSU University Centre, followed by a walk through University Centre to Migizii Agamik. Along the way, a booth will offer Moose Hide pins and informational materials, inviting participants to learn more and show their support.
The event will conclude in the Circle Room at Migizii Agamik, where light refreshments will be provided and participants are invited to gather, reflect and connect.
Pins are also available in the Dean's Office in EITC (E2-290).
