🥫ANEW HAMPER DRIVE🧸
As the holiday season is underway, ANEW is hosting a holiday donation drive in collaboration with the annual UMSU Holiday Hamper Program.
Please bring in items from now until December 20th. Donations are being accepted at the Career Development Office, Room 254 Drake.
Here are some suggested items to bring in:
1. Food Donations
• Canned Goods
• Juice
• Pasta
• Rice
• Oatmeal
• Peanut Butter
• Pancake Mix
• Syrup
• Crackers
• Granola Bars
2. Toy Donations
Toys must be in their original packaging to be accepted!

Welcome to the 2019 - 2020 ANEW President, Amanda Fanning. We are SO excited to be transitioning the group to Amanda, we know she will be an incredible leader for ANEW.
Amanda is in her final year at the Asper School of Business, majoring in Accounting and Supply Chain Management and Logistics. You may have seen her around campus as she has always been very involved with the Commerce Students’ Association, and is currently one of The Commerce Week Co-Chairs. Fun fact about Amanda, she used to play on a hockey team called Twins, and also happens to be a twin!
Looking forward to another great year for ANEW!

On Thursday, 13 members, the Co-Presidents, and Faculty Advisor of ANEW, had the privilege of attending SHEday thanks to the generous donations of Asper Career Development Centre and the Dean’s Office.
We spent the day listening to inspiring women from across the country speak on this year’s theme of courage. We learned a lot from the event, and our favourite quote of the day was to “inhale courage and exhale fear”. Our goal from this day is to bring a few of the topics and ideas to our members with the intention to empower the whole group with messages from SHEday.
A huge thank you goes out to our Faculty Advisor, Wendy Schultz for continually being a champion for ANEW. We would not have had the opportunity to attend SHEday if it wasn’t for Wendy.

Happy New Year ANEW!
Before the break, we delivered the donations that were raised through our Holiday Donation Drive to Willow Place Women and Children’s Shelter. Thank you to all of those who donated. A big thanks to the Asper Career Development Centre for hosting our donation box. We were able to donate a variety of needed items to support the shelter.
We look forward to continue supporting our community this year.
