It would seem many people do not understand the difference between Ice and Black Ice. Notice in the photos below the difference. Black Ice is much deadlier than normal or compact types of ice. Why? Because it Looks the same as a road either wet or dry. Most Black Ice occures due to lake effect, frost effect, or when the heat seeps through the pavement and the air temperature is below freezing. Can also occur if a wind is blowing across the pavement, in Ice fog and in freezing rain. Most times.... many people don't know they're on it until they need breaking power.
Don't be fooled. Know your road conditions.
Canadian winters are not for the poorly trained.

In my opinion anyone scheduled for a road test, should just wait it out until this strike is over!

I'm a driving instructor and to be 100% honest with everyone, parents and students, I do not trust, or have faith in most driving instructors. And from what I've heard, most of these instructors are new.

Any students looking for summer work give me a shout. I'm looking for someone to start in May-Oct. Early morning work. Must be able to lift at least 40lbs and be outgoing. This is a really fun Job can be hard if you let it be. Willing to train the right person to get their Class 4 as well.

Great day yesterday! 3 road tests and everyone passed! I love teaching! Seeing the successes of my students is so rewarding!
