Charlotte's Birdseed is a local craft business that makes all natural hanging birdseed ornaments. Located in St James, Winnipeg Manitoba.

Handmade birdseed shapes made with top quality seeds, nuts and dried fruit. Hang them in your garden and watch the birds come to eat. The gift that isn't a "thing" - once the birds eat them up it's gone, even the string is used as nest material! Made in Manitoba, Canada

Thank you to everyone for a wonderful ! These two monkeys came to visit me (my kids) on what is my final market show for now, for ever? Maybe? Probably.
I’m so grateful for the conversations with my customers, and Im happy you continue to choose gifts that support nature. You all are really lovely people and I appreciate you.
A few reasons behind the scenes are prompting me to move away from markets from now on.
However…
lI’m excited to shift my business model to support small businesses like , “leaf”, , , and . Not all carry my products all the time, but they have in the past and I am thankful for it. I know times are especially rough for brick and mortar business, so a way I can help is to prioritize selling through their stores. We have lost so many amazing local handmade shops this year it makes me sad. Stores like these give our city its personality, they support the arts community, and offer an incredible service to customers, (it’s really hard to curate art and handmade items from all over the county, and these stores really do a great job)
Anywho, thanks again, please email me if you need birdseed, I have a good stockpile left.

Hello friends!
Summer is such a blur, between gardening, vacations and work, time seems to fly by.
But fall is around the corner and while many are not eager for the seasons to change, I am very excited to settle into the next season.
School, holidays, and of course feeding the birds!
Are you eager for fall or wish it would hold off?
(Photo from Botanical Beach on beautiful Vancouver Island where were traveled with family, a truly incredible place!)

Cam is out doing bird surveys in western Manitoba this week and sent me these stunning prairie wildflowers shots.
Gaillardia, prairie / wood lily, and harebell. Such beauties!
I hope you all enjoy this long summer solstice night 🌻

Migration is in full swing and as vegetation regrows, our window reflections become pretty confusing to birds. This causes many fatal window strikes, which are a major contributor to the declining songbird population.

Breaking up the reflection can help let the birds know to not attempt to fly through! I have a selection of window clings to help with this, and look cute on your window too ❤️.

Read this far? Enjoy 25% off of my window cling collection until the end of May. Use code CLING25 on my website to order.

Two of my cling designs come with a $2 donation to and their important bird and biodiversity projects, that donation is still $2 with the discount.

The only set of clings I have for sale that are not reposition-able are the moon phases cling set - these stick to your window and can’t be repositioned.

The rest of the window clings use static to stay on (with a bit of water) and can be brought inside during winter to extend the life of the cling.

They can go inside or outside on the window, and the cling can be positioned front or back.

We will have a selection of all natural bird-feeders available tomorrow at the big show at the Centennial Concert Hall . (My only spring or summer show).
Wild songbirds have either just arrived from a long migration, or have made it through a long cold winter - AND they are working hard building nests and laying eggs - what I’m saying is, they’re super hungry!
