https://www.midoceanschool.ca/audio-in-media Our 1 year Diploma programme, Audio in Media, is designed to give students the necessary theoretical and practical training to enter the Audio Production Industry as a highly skilled audio engineer. The reality is, to thrive and be competitive in this industry you require numerous skills and experience. We train our students in the main fields of audio;

Music Production & Mastering, Live Sound Reinforcement, Radio Production, and Sound for Film, Television and Game Audio. Guided through a strong curriculum developed over 22 years by an experienced faculty; students gain hands-on experience in professional studios equipped with the latest industry standard equipment and software, they participate in a variety of development workshops, have the opportunity to collaborate with numerous musicians, music producers, and engineers, and are mentored by industry professionals in Radio, Live Sound, Film and Television, and spend weeks mentoring with industry professionals in each field. In the final term, students elect which areas they want to focus, gaining advanced skill through 8 weeks of additional projects and work practicums. Mid-Ocean School of Media Arts is a registered private vocational institution under The Private Vocational Institutions Act located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Our students come to us from across Canada and internationally.
