On Saturday April 28, our dear friend Donna Elliott crossed over. She was a wonderful small "medium" at large, who comforted many people with her messages of love from those who were on the other side. Many Winnipeggers invited her into their homes for a 'Donna party', which so many people loved because so much comfort and reassurance was passed along through Donna.

Donna gave countless private readings and taught many classes over the years. Perhaps you saw her on a Haunted Winnipeg bus tour or vigil. We had some adventures at St. Boniface Museum, Lower Fort Garry and Elmwood Cemetery. Donna inspired the start of the annual Spirit Seekers Conference at the Fort Garry Hotel. Her energetic sparkly personality couldn't be missed.

We have many fond memories of how she has touched our lives. Please help us celebrate her life by sharing your memories of Donna so we can remember together.

Today I write a different type of post, one that I am hoping some of you will follow through with. Many of you have been following me or attending tours over the years, and some of you may remember Ontario medium, Donna Elliott. If it hadn't been for Donna Elliott, these tours I offer wouldn't have developed the way they did. She has been an incredible source of knowledge and insight and I am very grateful for having the privilege to know her.
I was in contact with Donna over the Easter weekend and have been requested by her to write this post. Donna has been diagnosed with three types of cancer, has had a stroke and to top it all off, a heart attack in the past month! Please send her positive energy and love her way.

For those of you looking for Spirit Seekers 2018, we are taking the year off to revamp the event.

Last year was 9 years, the completion of a cycle. When we first started, many people were looking for a community, a way to connect with like minded spirit seekers. Our intention was to create a learning event to connect teachers with seekers in one place; to provide a diverse and engaging range of teachers and topics in the hopes you, dear friends would find a suitable path to follow. We hope you connected with a teacher in a workshop or through a reading and it has encouraged your spiritual journey.

Please take a moment and let us know how you felt about Spirit Seekers and help shape the next phase.

Thank you dear friends for your support and interest over the past nine years. Spirit Seekers will continue with its intention but with a new format.

Thank you to our past and present volunteers whose presence made the event a beautiful experience for our seekers. Thank you for your hard work, dedication over the years and the many hours, you did it all with grace.

Thank you to the teachers, who's presence came at the right time and right place for our seekers. Thank you for having the courage to blossom, sometimes for the first time, at one of our weekends.

Thank you to our vendors, who supported our seekers with the tools for the journey.

We truly loved investing our heart and soul into Spirit Seekers. We will meet again dear friends.

With all the turmoil, division, the fighting, and the need to be right by making others wrong that we are witnessing in the world, it may make you think we are far from awakening to any light or greater truth. But actually, it benefits us in this area if we allow it to. The more absurd it gets, the more we are beckoned to walk away from that and remember the truth of who we are, a bright and glowing light, each and every one of u. Light doesn't need to condemn or make wrong, it only needs to shine -through joy, generosity, kindness, and love that we share with one another. So be happy. Share that happiness.
