We offer two graduate degree programs - Master of Natural Resources Management (MNRM) and Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM)

The Natural Resources Institute plays a distinctive role at the University of Manitoba through its interdisciplinary activities and its participation in networks dealing with natural resources and environmental issues in Manitoba, Canada, and internationally. It is the only school in Manitoba conducting graduate teaching and research specifically on natural resources and environmental management; hence, it has contributed significantly to these fields in a provincial setting.
