🏕️🔥Our theme for the last week of our summer program was camping! We invited a special visitor to teach the children how to set up a tent and build a campfire. The children had so much fun exploring the tent and helping to arrange the logs for a campfire! It was a great experience and the perfect way to bring our summer program to a close. Wishing everyone a wonderful rest of the summer break!☀️

🚧 🦺 During construction week, the children were excited to welcome special guests who brought some construction machinery for them to explore. It was a fun experience to see the machinery up close, as well as climb inside and sit in the driver’s seat!👷🏗️

🪏🪴Gardening week welcomed a special visitor from The Leaf, who taught the children about gardening and how seeds spread to help plants grow. The children enjoyed the interactive experience and had the opportunity to plant their very own seed in a small pot to take home and watch grow! 🌱🌻

🛡️⚓️Dressed as a Viking, this week’s special guest had the children laughing at his silly jokes while creating fun balloon creations for each child to take home!🎈✨

🎭Drama Week had special visit from The Travelling Stage! The children enjoyed an interactive performance filled with storytelling, imagination, music, and movement. Thank you to The Travelling Stage for such a memorable experience!🌟

🚲🚦This week’s summer program theme was bike safety! We had special visitors from MPI who taught the children the importance of staying safe while riding their bikes. They disused topics such as wearing helmets, looking for road signs and using safe riding habits. The children enjoyed learning important bike safety tips that they can use on future bike rides!🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️
