🇫🇷❄️ Every year, our Elementary French Department brings French culture to life through our annual Festival du Voyageur! From Preschool to Grade 5, students enjoy a day of hands-on activities, traditional foods, outdoor adventures, and more - all while learning about the French language, history, and culture. We’re also grateful for the parents and our Middle and High School French students, who volunteer throughout the day to help make this special event possible!

SCA Youth Parliament is a mock parliamentary program inspired by a movement that began in the early 1920s through the YMCA. It was designed to engage young people in leadership and service by giving them opportunities to debate issues, develop public speaking skills, and learn the basics of parliamentary governance.

Rooted in a four-fold focus of intellectual, physical, spiritual, and social growth, it reflected the verse Luke 2:52: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Today, SCA continues this tradition by helping students grow in confidence, leadership, and character through meaningful debate and discussion.

Chapel is an important part of life at Springs Christian Academy. Each week, our middle and high school students gather to worship, grow in God’s Word, and build community. Throughout the year, each grade has the opportunity to lead a chapel, developing leadership skills while encouraging others in their faith.

At Springs Christian Academy, students have the opportunity of serving at the Springs Inner City Emergency Food Bank, helping pack groceries and distribute food to those in need.

It’s a hands-on opportunity to step outside the classroom and into the community, where students learn what it means to serve with compassion, humility, and care for others in a meaningful way.

🦅 Go Eagles! 🏀🏐 Our extracurricular athletic program for students in Grades 4–12 provides opportunities to grow both on and off the court. Through practices and competition, students develop their athletic abilities, build teamwork, and form lasting friendships. They are encouraged to compete with integrity, perseverance, and Christ-like character as they represent SCA with excellence.

At SCA, leadership is an important part of our school community. Our middle and high school students regularly volunteer at elementary events, supporting younger students, helping with activities, and leading by example through service.

Beginning in Grade 3, students are given opportunities to lead and serve in a variety of ways, including recess patrol, helping care for our school grounds, walking younger grades to chapel, and assisting in our pickup and drop-off line. Students are also encouraged to serve in their church and wider community.

Through these experiences, students build confidence, character, and a heart for service as they grow into leaders who lead with kindness and purpose.

One of the highlights of every week at Springs Christian Academy is gathering together for chapel. Our elementary students come together to worship, grow in their faith, and learn from God’s Word as a community. Throughout the year, each class has the opportunity to lead a chapel by participating in praise and worship and sharing a message. It’s a meaningful opportunity for students to grow in both their faith and their confidence as leaders.
