Fantastic performance from all five of these goalkeepers out in Vancouver at the Whitecaps REX Showcase event. The girls went a collective 5-1 and the boys went 1-1-1. The future looks bright!

Big win tonight in the over 40 final, in penalties! Go on the mighty Thistle FC! Four excellent goalkeepers on this team and only one actually plays in goal. 😂 Great job , coming up big in the game and definitely in the penalty shootout! Back to back championships for us! Hopefully my body will let me try for a third. lol.

Rewind back to a couple weeks ago at the FTF showcase in Vancouver. This group of Bonivital players that I’ve called, “The Compliment Crew”, decided to take it upon themselves to shout random compliments at people on the streets of Vancouver, while we drove to and from games. The beaming looks on people’s faces showed how positively those words affected them. I sometimes wonder if these girls truly understand how profound their actions really were, in positively impacting the day and maybe even the lives of these people. Missing from the photo is Faye, who had to leave early. The future is in good hands with this group of girls.❤️

Well, it was Bowen’s last session in the Peg. He’ll be moving even farther West, to start his residency at Pacific F.C.’s academy. Good luck in your next chapter! You’re going to do fantastic out there!

The first annual Frozen Fortress Goalie Wars Challenge was a great time!! Congratulations to the winners and I can’t wait to do the next one at Spring Break!! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and is enjoying the holiday season! See you all soon!!

Some highlights from the last couple of weeks in the winter academy. We’re really trying to sharpen up the speed and strength of the goalkeeper’s movement within the penalty area.

From one of the eastern most points of the continent to the western most point, congratulations to the Portland Thorns and for making the NWSL playoffs!! Now go finish the job!

When the goalkeeping coach is unavailable for the day, sometimes you have to step up for the team. Thanks UdeMoncton for allowing me to be a part of your ID camp! It was a lot of fun. You put on a great weekend!
