Wage $17.04 - Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 08:30-13:00
The ideal candidate:
• Able to easily assist in supervising children between the ages of 2 and 5 years
• Take pride in building strong relationships with the children in your care and their families
• Clear understanding of child development
• Recognize the importance of helping children enhance their social, motor and intellectual development
• Ensure the environment remains fun while learning French through crafts, games, stories, outings and social interaction
• Consistent with children
• Work well in a team environment
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Hiring will be subject to the following:
• Child Care Assistant Certification or equivalent experience
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
• Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector completed (Dated within 3 months of employment)
• Child Abuse Registry Check (Dated within 3 months of employment)
• Fluent in French and English
