In Loving Memory of Hilda Flett
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the passing of our dear friend, Elder, and longtime community member, Hilda Flett.
Hilda was a respected Elder of Berens River First Nation whose presence, wisdom, and dedication touched so many lives. Throughout the years, she served on numerous committees and contributed countless hours to help build and strengthen our community. Her commitment to Berens River reflected her deep love for our people and her hope for a better future for generations to come.
Hilda had a special way of sharing her wisdom with the younger generation. She taught through her words, her honesty, her kindness, and the way she cared for those around her. Her guidance and strength will continue to live on in the many people she encouraged and supported throughout her life.
Her love for her community was something that could be felt by everyone who knew her. Hilda leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, wisdom, service, and community. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by her family, friends, and the community she gave so much to.
Thank you, Hilda, for everything you gave to our community and to the people you loved. Your memory will remain with us always.
