Study carrel applications are now open until September 18 at 4:30pm!
Study carrels are a private and quiet space for you to focus on your studies. Once you’ve been assigned a carrel, it is yours for the entire academic year!
You can keep your belongings in this locked room and may access it 24/7.
No more walking around campus looking for a quiet spot to study!

New staffing update! 📣
On July 2nd, we welcomed Heidi Struck as our new Development Officer! Heidi brings extensive experience from the Royal Manitoba Thratre Centre and other non-profit organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society and Manitoba Theatre for Young People. We’re also fortunate that Jackie will remain on the Development team in a part-time role.
This Fall, we will also be welcoming back Rev. Helen Holbrook as our Chaplain! Many of our students, staff and Fellows have greatly missed Helen’s enthusiastic presence, and we are so excited for her return!
Please welcome Heidi Struck and welcome back Helen Holbrook to the SJC Community! ❤️

Three years ago, we met some wonderful students who later became long-time members, scholarship recipients, and student leaders 💛
This could be you! We can’t wait to meet the next generation of leaders at our De-Confusion Centre.
Remember: always leave room to learn and grow! You never know what opportunities may arise.

Tomorrow, July 1st, marks 159 years since Canada’s confederation.
For some, Canada represents safety, opportunity, and a place to call home. For others, this day brings grief and reminders of painful histories that continue to shape the present.
However you mark the day, may it be with humility and a willingness to learn from our Indigenous peoples.
