Was recently down in the beautiful city of Tyler, Texas 🏴󠁵󠁳󠁴󠁸󠁿 and caught up with Gary Patrick Music performing at one of Tyler's best outdoor venues, "The Grove Kitchen & Gardens."

It was a great night with excellent food, drinks, wine and plenty of Gary's smokin' guitar pickin'!

Gary Patrick was recently nominated for "Artist of the Year" at the Josie Music Awards event in Nashville.

1955 Chevrolet 'Cameo' pick-up

Had to snap a few pics of this 1955 Chevrolet pick-up truck. Chevrolet called them the “Cameo Carrier.”

Rare truck, only made them for a few years, and this one is immaculate. I would have liked to have spoken with the owner, because I think the truck box (here) is from off of a 1957 model.

Take a close look at the interior photo… power windows were added on the restoration!

JAZZ GUITAR: Tension Tones in Melody Lines


When soloing, if you stick to the chord tones you will never be wrong. But, if you do this in Jazz, you'll have a little trouble being able to maintain the listeners interest for very long.
