This Week of the Early Childhood Educator was full of activities, gratitude, and treats (so many treats!).

Thank you to everyone who shared kind words, delivered treats or gifts, and took part in all of the fun activities planned at each of the centres all week long.

And of course, the biggest thank you is for our incredible staff, who deserve every bit of recognition they've received, and then some! We couldn't appreciate you more for your dedication to the families in Rainbow's care. Thank you. 💕

Congratulations to our newest Circle of Security grads: Sabi, Esther, Devon, Aggie, Marnie & Roseline!

Circle of Security is an intense, comprehensive training program focused on the development of secure attachment between caregivers and young children. Rainbow is very fortunate to have internal COS facilitators who lead training for our staff, allowing us to offer these learning opportunities throughout the year.

On March 9th, ECEs and CCAs across all seven of Rainbow's locations gathered for a full day of professional development. Staff were separated into groups based on their programs (infant, preschool and school age), with learning opportunities geared towards each program.

Thank you to our incredible speakers for their presentations: Melanie Glaser of ELCC, Nancy Tovell with Bookmates, Jordan Barnes of the Learning Disorders Association of Manitoba, Mark Battle from Red River College, and Kristen Smith of RCS.

Huge thanks to everyone who participated in the Phase 3A bake sale a few weeks ago! Thanks to your contributions, we were able to purchase a new play table and other games/toys for our program!
