Today we celebrated the end of the 2025-2026 Tournament Season.
The Nakamura Judo Family got together to celebrate all the accomplishments achieved during this season.
New black belts.
New women's only program.
New personal accomplishments.
New certified coaches.
New medals.
And above all, new Nakamura Judo Family members.
It wasn't an easy year. We worked very hard every day.
Sometimes we didn't get what we wanted, but we kept moving forward.
We are very thankful for all the people that support our family!
Sometimes those people are not the ones that usually are in the pictures but they are always there when we need them.
Thank you!!!
Thanks to all the coaches that are always there to support our team!
Thank you to all families that are always supporting their kids and the team!!

2026 Canadian Open Championships!!
It was a tough tournament for everyone but I'm sure they had a great experience and they will be ready for the next season!!
Great job by Ruby for getting the Gold medal in the U16 +70kg and the Bronze medal in the U18 +70kg categories.
Niamh and Nazar ended up in the 5th place in their respective categories.
Amaya, Sh**un, Bennet, Fedor and Jaxon ended in the 7th place in their categories.
This tournament was also the last tournament to a good friend, Sergio Pessoa as the Provincial Judo Head Coach for Quebec.
I've learned tons from him since I started as a Head Coach for MB.
Thank you, Sergio for everything!! enjoy your retirement!!
We move on to the next season!!
