🥁This is an example of a case I’ve recently guided
Name: Mark
Country of origin: Ukraine
Problem: Landing a higher paid job fast
Current situation: Job at a factory @ 20$ an hour

Solution:
⏫️upgraded his LinkedIn page (his LinkedIn already matched a higher paid position)
⏫️revised his resume (tailored to the company/position/job requirements)
⏫️connected him with the company workers and asked them for insights about the company
⏫️did a couple of follow ups with the hiring managers

Outcome:
❇️Mark got the job
❇️he loves the place and people he’s working with
🚀his long term goal is to open his own consulting company

Reality check:
🈴be prepared for a waiting game
🈴always remember your place will always find you
🈴it’s not about the money-it’s about your hobbies/your passions/and finding a place where you can create
🈴constantly improve your language and any work-related skills
🈴Mark is 32 and he’s starting from scratch: be like Mark-start from scratch at any point in your life

✨Technology is a must for the ESL classroom and for modern education!✨

I’ve notice that in today’s cutting-edge world, integrating technology into ESL classrooms is no longer optional—it’s essential. Technology not only makes learning more engaging but also equips students with the skills they need to thrive in a digital age. Here are five practical ways students can use their phones in the classroom to enhance their learning experience without disrupting the process:

🚀1. Instant Translations: using Google Translate to quickly understand unknown words helps students grasp new vocabulary without missing the flow of the lesson. This tool provides instant definitions and context, making it a valuable resource for language learners.💢I find this point to be the most crucial one for beginners. They need an instant translation to increase their vocabulary, get engaged in the activities and understand what’s going on in the classroom. Otherwise, they might be behind, get frustrated and lose motivation.

2. 🚀Interactive Language Apps: apps like Duolingo or Memrise can be used during designated times to reinforce language skills through gamified learning. These apps make practice enjoyable and effective, encouraging consistent progress.

🚀3. Voice Recording for Pronunciation Practice: students can use their phone’s voice recorder to practice and playback their pronunciation. This self-assessment tool helps students improve their speaking skills by allowing them to hear and correct their mistakes.

🌱One of the best pieces of advice that one of my career consultants gave me was to find a successful entrepreneur in the same field as mine.
