In January, Cogmation Robotics recently worked with K12 to train teachers in robotic programming and coding🧑🏫. As a result, these teachers successfully taught their own students who put their skills to the test in an in-person robotics competition!🤖

Utilize our Virtual Robotics Toolkit software to grasp universally-valued Digital Twinning skills!👯♂️
Kids today are hesitant to draw a distinction between the physical world and their virtual counterparts, partly because they do not have the necessary resources to do so. By working simultaneously with both virtual and physical robots using VRT would enable kids to develop the necessary skills for jobs like the Boeing🛫, where kids work on simulation software, rather than physical planes. The concept of Digital Twinning if learnt early would aid job candidates in the future.

Make the most out of your Mindstorms EV3 by pairing it with our software, Virtual Robotics Toolkit (VRT) and optimize your resources!🤖
In a study conducted by a researcher at the University of Manitoba, Michael R. Zurba, it was reported that, “Access to both an EV3 and the VRT simultaneously allows a student of robotics more freedom to learn and engage according to their interests and curiosity”. Additionally, it was found that students who had access to both systems developed a higher level of understanding in the area of programming and metacognition🧠To read the full study, visit https://mspace.lib.umanitoba.ca/handle/1993/34302.
The best part about working with VRT is that the interface of the virtual robot is identical to a physical robot. The process to download and run the code on the virtual robot is exactly the same as the physical robot👾 All you need to do is write one line of code and run it on both the virtual and physical robots, one after the other, to see how they behave🧐

Why is it important to encourage and support girls and women in STEM?👩💻
Diversity and Inclusion: Girls and women bring unique perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the table, which enriches the STEM workforce and leads to more innovative and creative solutions.🧠
Closing the gender gap: Not just in the financial context but closing the gender gap in the opportunity context is very important to contribute to a more equitable society.
Overcome biases and stereotypes: Men dominate the fields of STEM and women are underrepresented. By challenging this stereotype, men and women are placed on equal footing and it encourages females to freely pursue their interests in STEM.
Drives growth and innovation: By supporting girls and women in STEM, we tap into a larger talent pool, unlocking the potential for more innovative discoveries and technological advancements. This results in growth, as there is an increase in competitiveness in the global economy.✨
Interested in challenging the social norm? Virtual Robotics Toolkit (VRT) is a great place to start learning how to code while learning how to overcome the biases present in STEM related fields! To learn more visit our website: https://www.virtualroboticstoolkit.com/
