Little Steps Childcare

Little Steps Childcare is a home daycare that is located in a very quiet neighborhood with parking in front of the home for easy drop off and pick up.
Your child will thrive in my nurturing, creative, fun, educational, calm and loving home environment.

The playroom is large and bright. The fenced yard has a garden where the children grow their own flowers and vegetables in the spring and summer along with plenty of grass for them to run around on and pavement for riding bicycles and colouring with chalk.

There is a park which we visit within walking distance, exploring the different varieties of plants and animals we encounter on our way there.
We aim to empower children to build self-respect, confidence and self-esteem.
Toddlers younger than two years are known to learn best via hands-on exploration of their physical world.
We encourage the growth of the whole child, emotionally, physically and intellectually.

We have lots of fun with age appropriate indoor activities such as circle time, story time, music time, arts and crafts, nap time, as well as outdoor play and so much more.
We include educational elements through play based activities, to prepare your child for their next step into school.

I provide hot and nutritious home made meals and snacks. Fresh fruits and vegetables daily, whole grain pastas and breads. If required, I will also provide dairy free, vegetarian or gluten free meals.

Montessori Early Childhood Diploma, Business Administration Diploma as well as completing all the core skills as a Health Care Aide.
I have my current CPR, First Aid as well as the Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks.

I have been providing care to children for over 20 years and have many happy families who would gladly share their stories of care as references.
There are 2 small and friendly dogs, but they do not go into the play room.

Smoke-free home.
Pet-free playroom.
Receipts for income tax can be provided.
Past and current parent references will be provided upon request.
Nights and weekends may be available upon request for an hourly fee.
All children must be fully immunized.
