Business Break: Galentine’s Day Movie Night 💘

Valentine’s Day is approaching, and what better way to share love than a night filled with romance movies, chocolates, drinks and snacks! BASA is inviting you to our “Gals and Allies” Movie Night, join us for the perfect opportunity for friends to come together and enjoy a night of laughter, love, and camaraderie.

In the spirit of GAL-entine’s, we are accepting feminine products such as a box of pads and/or tampons as payment. Your donations will be delivered to women shelters in Winnipeg.

Do you have a business idea in mind? 💭 Well we have a competition for you! 🫵

Pitch It! is a competition where a team of 1-3 students can pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges—like the TV show, Shark Tank!💡Best idea wins a prize of 1st place: $1500, 2nd place: $900, and 3rd place: $600.

All undergraduate students in Manitoba can register themselves for the competition. Applications for Pitch it! are open from January 12th to February 5th. You can find the link in our bio to register! ✨

*Requirements: Undergraduate in post-secondary school with a business idea or business currently making zero profit.
