Today we are at the MB Construction Expo Career Fair with our 1st booth in 2 years. Come by & visit with Bashir & Veronica. They have the Level Up VR systems with them. If you haven't booked in your school for presentations yet. We can help you with that at the booth too!!

DOM 2022 Leaders Walk & Ceremony. On the National Day of Mourning on April 28th SWOT, MFL & many others stop to think about all the workers who have been injured or lost their lives while being at work this past year. Thanks to Tec Voc and St Norbert High schools for coming out and taking part in this years event. The walk was attended by about 300+ people this year. Here is some pictures among many others that where taken that day. Thanks to everyone who sent us pictures of the event this year so we could share them.

This past year was frought with challenges as we navigated the effects of the ongoing pandemic, however through the innovative and adaptive efforts of educators, coordinators and all other programs and partnerships, we continue to be able to provide valuable occupational safety presentations for young and vulnerable persons in Manitoba. As we look ahead to 2022 and beyond, we are committed not only to maintaining our efforts amid the pandemic, but to grow and thrive in spite of it.

The SWOT office will be closed the week of Monday the 27th until Friday the 31st, opening up again on Monday the 3nd.

Two wonderful SWOT announcements!! Our amazing presenter Alicia Waldner has returned from maternity leave and is once again facilitating presentations for schools and other organizations provincewide!!

Furthermore, join us in welcoming Veronica Suszynski to the SWOT team!! Veronica brings years of experience from her time at SafeWork MB, and we are thrilled to have her aboard!

The Safe Workers of Tomorrow office will be closed on September 30th in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We encourage you to take this day to honour residential school survivors, their families, and their communities.
