Learning is not about meeting a system where it's at, it is always about the learner. Covid has taken a great deal of academic time away from many students' daily lives, and getting hung up on a grade # now is a stress you can, and should, do without. Respect life's journey; be compassionate about what is best for you & your journey right now. 😉

Meeting students where they're at is crucial, and education must be flexible to be successful. Every student is living their experience of this global pandemic; where, when, and how we teach should meet them there. What they walk away with will inevitably look different than it did two years ago, and we can nurture & respect & feed that experience. All else is an artificial construct of the system in place, not a place to get hung up on.
