The Opening Ceremonies of the Vision Quest Conference & Trade Show set a foundation of respect and tradition through the powerful Grand Entry. This ceremony brings together Manitoba’s Indigenous Veterans, traditional drummers, singers, and dancers for a moving display of cultural pride and honour.

Join us on the morning of Wednesday, June 3rd, at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg to witness this meaningful start to our gathering. It is a time for the community to come together as we begin two days focused on the growth of Indigenous business and community development.

Exciting news! We are bringing a brand new experience to this year’s Vision Quest Conference & Trade Show. For the first time, you can visit the “Let’s Get It Done” Clinic to get direct help from Service Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency while visiting the Trade Show.

On June 3 and 4 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, experts will be on-site to help you check items off your to-do list. You can get in-person assistance with:

• Applying for or updating your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
• Tax slips, Notice of Assessments, and account updates
• Information on the Canada Child Benefit, GST/HST credit, and the Disability Tax Credit
• Details on the Canada Dental Care Plan, Employment Insurance, and the Canada Disability Benefit
• Passport information, pension details, and much more

Please bring a piece of government issued photo ID. If you are applying for a SIN, you will also need to bring your birth certificate or Certificate of Indian Status.

We are officially one week away from the 29th Vision Quest Conference & Trade Show!

As the Principal of Chief Partnerships, he works with leaders from all walks of life to engage communities and inspire the next generation of role models, building on years of leadership in public service and community development. Kevin’s deep connection to his roots is also reflected in his work with the Norman Chief Memorial Dancers, celebrating and promoting Indigenous culture through the art of Métis square dancing.

The 29th Vision Quest Conference & Trade Show features 14 interactive workshops across four key categories: Business, Community/Personal Development, Cultural Awareness, and Youth.

Participants can explore sessions dedicated to reclaiming identity and building resilience, such as "The Language Lives in Us" with Wanda Barker and the "Self-Care Medicine Wheel" with Michael Redhead Champagne. This year’s program also includes a practical Self-Defence Workshop led by Larry McKinnon of Buffalo Defence Solutions.
