Meet the Instructors of Summer Strings: 🎻Karen Warner🎻
Karen Warner, a retired teacher, now enjoys spending her time teaching private lessons at Winnipeg Conservatory of Music and substitute teaching for the fiddle programs in the Seven Oaks School Division.
While at SOSD, Karen discovered a great love for traditional fiddle music including Cape Breton, Scottish, Métis and Irish tunes. Directing fiddle groups of young students and organizing and playing in jamborees has been a highlight for her and she continues this tradition as Director of WCM’s Fine Tuners Fiddle Ensemble.
