WCM welcomes Emmeline Tovey! Emmeline specializes in classical voice technique and musical theatre, and is available for lessons on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Emmeline Tovey is an English-Canadian operatic mezzo-soprano who recently completed her Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music. From musical theatre and jazz to classical music and opera, Emmeline is confident in both performing and teaching across various genres.

As a passionate and dedicated teacher, she encourages her students to find their voices through practical, engaging exercises grounded in the latest vocal science, ensuring long-term vocal health.

Emmeline has worked with renowned singers across Canada and the UK, and she understands the importance of fostering a nurturing environment for vocal exploration. She is committed to creating a safe and positive space and strives to make her singing lessons collaborative, joyful, and empowering. Her goal is to help each student build confidence, develop healthy technique, and discover their unique sound, whether they are preparing for the stage or simply singing for the love of it.
