RAFAYEL originally created this set for . The Litefeet section was the closer, and after clips from the show and rehearsals hit TikTok, that section blew up overnight and quickly became a worldwide challenge.

Dancers, creators and artists from around the world put their own spin on it, including , , and , just to name a few! 🤯

Do you have our app notifications turned on? Because you might’ve missed some exciting announcements we’ve made, it’s almost like early access to what’s going on at the studio! 🔥🔥

This Saturday, The Upgrade is coming to Drop In Dance Winnipeg! Created by Julio Fuentes, this 2-hour theatre dance workshop is an amazing opportunity that you won’t want to miss! Check out the previous post for more information. 🎭

But before we get to Saturday, we have even more pop-ups and workshops going on this week! 😮

Katrina McQuade is back with her set of TWERKSHOP classes on Wednesday! Come for the Technique or the Choreography or take BOTH for the ultimate twerkshop training! 💪

Sam Navarro has her final set of equity classes this Thursday! These classes are only $10 (or take both for $15) and pay it forward to our equity program spots to give more people the opportunity to dance! 🫶

Last but not least, TEQ-tonic is hosting a two-day Flying Low and Passing Through workshop with Keita Fournier-Pelletier on Thursday and Friday! Calling all contemporary dancers, attend one day or both and learn about this style of floorwork! 🎶

🔥 Meet your new Hip Hop Instructor — RAFAYEL (RAFFY) MARAMAG! 🔥

Starting September 4th, Raffy will be teaching Absolute Beginner/Beginner Hip Hop every Fridays from 6:00PM – 7:00 PM.

Each week will alternate between two focuses:

WEEK 1 — Absolute Beginner Hip Hop / Litefeet
✨ Build your foundation, groove, musicality, and confidence with a focus on the fundamentals.

WEEK 2 — Beginner Hip Hop / Litefeet
🔥 Take those same foundations and put them into action with more combo/choreo-focused classes.

Then we repeat the cycle! 🔄

Our OPEN HOUSE is this week, where we have a full day of $5 drop in’s! Find DOXA Matcha • Winnipeg Matcha Pop-Up, Instabooth | Winnipeg Photobooth and now Red Bull Canada 🇨🇦 popping up at the studio for you to check out in between all the dancing! 🔥
