Tannis Richardson was a remarkable philanthropist whose generosity helped shape Winnipeg for decades. Through her deep care for this community, she touched countless lives and strengthened the city she loved. Her legacy can be seen across arts, culture and heritage, education, healthcare, and support for children, youth and families.
Tannis gave with vision, compassion, and a sincere belief in the power of community. Her kindness and leadership will be felt for generations, and she will be remembered with deep gratitude for the extraordinary impact she made on our city.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.

We are proud to see the music program at Collège Miles Macdonell Collegiate recognized by the Manitoba Band Association Family of Festivals during Music Month. MMC received the MBA Jazz Award for exemplary performance, mature on and off-stage presence, responsiveness to the clinic, commitment to festival through longevity of participation, and the development of an outstanding band program. The Board wants to explore the possibility of taking this to the next level for the Reunion event by allowing people who cannot attend the Reunion to visit the school in 3D... possibly... LIVE!
Plans, as we are saying today, are emerging...
