Ann’s history with PTE spans three decades and includes serving as Artistic Associate (2014-15), as a teacher, a marketing assistant, and a student. Now, she will step into her new role as PTE's ninth Artistic Director on Monday, November 4.

All of us here at the UW Dept of Theatre and Film are deeply saddened by the untimely death of longtime Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre and Rainbow Stage carpenter Louis Gagne. Our hearts go out to his kids and to his Local 63 family. And particularly to those he worked with so closely for so long.

UWinnipeg alum Ian Bawa took a detour and found his path | University of Winnipeg News Ian Bawa (BA 08) is one of two featured alumni filmmakers during the University of Winnipeg Homecoming 2024 event Stories from the Heart: Alumni Filmmakers on the World Stage.

The Archives is pleased to announce the availability of the records of Steven Schipper, Artistic Director at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre from 1989 to 2019. The records illustrate his legacy at MTC and career in Canadian theatre.

An exhibit showcasing a sample of the records will be open in the Archives during the summer (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

⭐ The Director of Development is accountable for creating and leading annual multi-year fundraising and sponsorship strategies aimed at increasing private sector revenue through sponsorships and individual, corporate, and foundation gifts. The application deadline is Monday, June 3.
