Congratulations to Anne Guay on her well deserved retirement.

Anne’s career in education has been defined by compassion, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to students. She began supplying in both elementary and secondary schools from 1997 to 2000, accepted a math LTO in 2000, and secured her contract at F.E. Madill in 2001, where she built a lasting legacy.

Anne taught across diverse roles including math, geography, SERT, kindergarten, and the library, always meeting students where they were. She led Peer Mentors, supported Inclusion and You Matter initiatives, guided students toward grants and conferences, and served as a Mental Health Liaison. Her contributions were recognized with the Always Learning Award in 2017. Among her proudest achievements is the creation of the Living Library, connecting community through shared human experiences.

Anne leaves behind not just programs, but people forever changed by her care—her impact will be felt for generations.

We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Tractor Day 🚜
A day to celebrate rural living by having students drive a tractor to school. This year we had 27 total pieces of equipment including tractors, harvester, sprayer, lawn mowers and a steam engine.
It’s a day that brings visitors from MRES, Sacred Heart, North Huron Children’s Centre as well as many members young and old from the community.
A huge thank you to Robert’s Equipment Lucknow and Huron Tractor Blyth for donating prizes.
