The University of Windsor's Co-op office, in collaboration with TD Bank, recently hosted a Student Appreciation Luncheon at the TD head office located in downtown Toronto. This event allowed co-op students the opportunity to network with fellow classmates, the Human Resources team, and People Managers to share their co-op success stories and learn about employment opportunities available after graduation. TD Bank is currently our largest employer of technical positions for the 2022 school year.

As our senior business co-op students wrap up their final work term, they are also busy preparing presentations that highlight their co-op role, employer, and experience. Yesterday, students presented to faculty and local supervisors, reflecting on the skills they learned during their placement, and how they applied academic learning to their jobs out in industry. They also talked about their career goals, and shared their future plans after graduation. Congratulations to all students on a successful round of presentations!

Students enter co-op programs for many reasons, each of them unique in their own way. Regardless of what their primary driver for being interested in co-op is, students always gain so much from their experiences and the widespread benefits of the program. Emily is a third-year business student who recently completed a co-op placement as an Accounting Assistant at Baker Tilly, where she learned a lot about the career path she plans to pursue when she graduates.
