In 2011, a group of Psychology graduate students started the Community Action Group as part of a course requirement for Community Psychology.
In 2012, we became an official graduate student group with the goal of creating ties between students and the community. We are currently comprised of several graduate students committed to using their skills to benefit community organizations. Efforts have included fundraising, event organization, community volunteer work, literature reviews, research development, grant writing, needs assessments, questionnaire development, etc.
