Lord, thank You for these sweet moments in our days. 🤍🎶
Today, the sound of This Little Light of Mine came floating down the hallway. Beautiful harmonies seemed to call me toward them. I followed the music into our Grade 7/8 classroom and found students reading, working on their art, enjoying each other’s company and singing together as they worked.
No performance. No audience. Just voices lifted in song in the middle of an ordinary school day.
These are the moments that make this place so special. May their little lights always shine. ✨

And just like that… we’re back!
What a wonderful first day at First Lutheran Christian Academy!
There were new classrooms to explore, friends to reconnect with, stories to share, new people to meet, lots of learning and a little first-day excitement! Our halls came alive again today! Praise God!
There is something so special about the first day of a new school year—the anticipation, the fresh start, and all the possibilities waiting in the months ahead. We are so grateful for the students and families who make FLCA the community that it is.
As we begin this new year together, we are reminded with this years verse:
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” — 1 John 3:1
Here’s to a year of learning, growing, laughing, serving and discovering just how much God has in store for us.

🇨🇦 What a wonderful Canada Day! 🇨🇦
We had such a great time getting out into our community and walking together in the Canada Day parade! Praise God! We are so grateful to all of the FLCA families who joined us on such a hot day, and to the wonderful volunteers who helped make it all happen.
Our students brought so much energy and fun to the parade route—waving flags, getting the crowds hyped up and even starting some very enthusiastic “FLCA! FLCA! FLCA!” chants along the way! ❤️🤍 Parents, Teachers, Pastors, Board member and Church members passed out seed packets advertising our school- Thank you so much for your help! Our New mascot, Izzy, made their first appearance 🦅 The students and the crowd loved Izzy!
It was hot, it was lively, and it was so much fun. What a great day to be together as a school community and make some wonderful summer memories! 🇨🇦☀️🦅

What an incredible day of learning at Faithville Gospel Productions!
Our Grade 5/6 students had the opportunity to explore the world of media production through the lens of sharing the Good News. Throughout the day, they learned about pre-production, production, and post-production while gaining hands-on experience with professional media equipment and techniques.
Students designed and built their own puppets, created unique characters, used professional cameras, participated in a skit, and discovered the editing process that brings productions to life. It was a wonderful blend of creativity, technology, collaboration,media literacy, and storytelling.
Most importantly, our students saw how these skills can be used to communicate truth, tell meaningful stories, and share the Gospel with others.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Faithville Gospel Productions for your enthusiasm, expertise, and encouragement. Our students absolutely loved the experience!

We had a great day at our Track Meet at the U of W. Congratulations to all of our participants and thank you FLCA families for your encouragement and cheers 📣🥳 We were blessed with gorgeous sunshine, great competition and the opportunity to make new friends!
