Congratulations to Dr. Christine Vanderkooy for being the recipient of the Ontario Contribution to Teaching Award (OCTA) - Windsor/Essex County Branch

Victoria is a very talented pianist, and wants to share her talents to help fundraise for our Hospice! 🕊️

She is a RCM Level 10 pianist, and has been a provincial finalist in the OMFA competition almost every year, with a first-place award in Ontario for best Piano Duet in 2024 and 2025. She also volunteers weekly playing piano at the Windsor Regional Hospital.

Victoria is hosting a piano concert at the School of Creative Arts - tickets are by donation only, and it's first come, first served. There will be other fun activities and chances to win gifts during her performance, with all proceeds being donated in support of our Hospice patients and their loved ones! 💙

When: Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 1:30-2:30 PM (doors open at 1:15 PM)
Where: Performance Hall, School of Creative Arts at the University of Windsor (353 Freedom Way)

Please Support this music education fundraiser as CFMTA (Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Associations) turns 90 years old! We are honouring the 33 CFMTA Presidents throughout June. There have been 4 national presidents from Alberta over the past 90 years: Robert Pounder, Carol Mellors, Patricia Frehlich, and Marlaine Osgood.
