Fraternity paints over hateful graffiti only to find message of inclusion blotted out A fraternity at the University of Windsor is replacing words of hate with messages of inclusion. But to the group's surprise, one of its messages has already been painted over.

People have been noticing prejudice and discriminatory tags popping up all across public spaces in Windsor, most of which are islamophobic.

Citizens of Windsor have been taking action, and trying to cover up the hate in the neighborhood. This afternoon the brothers of Pi Lambda Phi lived our creed and shared our values about the Elimination of Prejudice (EOP) as we spread a better message to the citizens of this city, and especially the young who are exposed to these public locations.

Throughout the day we had conversations with appreciative residents, as well as city workers who DO NOT SUPPORT hate crimes, and were at least glad those messages are censored.

A special shout out to our Wonderful alumni adviser for bringing the issue to the Fraternity's attention, and encouraging us to support to community in a positive way. Happy birthday Curtis Makish, your day was well spent. We couldn't have done it without you.

There are more tags out there still. Alert the authorities if you know who is spreading the hate.

Islam does not equal Isis. That's a trash idea. Generalizations can be harmful. Let's eliminate Prejudice in this community!
